Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Meadows of Seven Points (MOSP) Homeowners’ Association (HOA) managed?

MOSP is self-managed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of residents which meet monthly. Official notification of the HOA Annual Meeting is sent to all Homeowners well in advance of the meeting.

Are there annual assessments/dues?

Yes. Membership in the HOA means all Homeowners must pay annual maintenance fees to cover operating expenses.

How do I contact the board?

Please use the Contact Page to contact the board.

Is there a Website?

Yes. The HOA website contains a great deal of information including all community documents such as the Restated & Amended Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs), Architectural Review Committee (ARC) forms and ARC guidelines. https://mosphoa.com

How do I keep up with neighborhood information – is there a newsletter?

Yes. The Board tries to produce a newsletter each month and is distributed exclusively by email. To be added to the list, please send us your email to the Board.

When & why do I need an Architectural Change Request?

To maintain the aesthetic beauty and market value of our community, all exterior changes are reviewed by the ARC per the CCRs, policies and guidelines. The Change Request Form is available on the HOA website.

Are there any common spaces in the Meadows of Seven Points?

There are over 14 acres of common space with the majority set as designated storm water retention areas. Per Metro guidelines, dumping grass clippings, tree limbs, leaves or other waste are strictly prohibited as these items can negatively impact storm water control systems.

If my property is adjacent to common space, can I utilize the space for storage, a fire pit, or animal feeders?

No. Utilizing the common space for your personal use would be no different than using your neighbor’s property.

Are Short Term Rentals allowed?

No. Are there parking restrictions? Yes. Please see the HOA Rules & Regulations.

Who is responsible for the lamp posts in our yards?

It is the Homeowner’s responsibility to maintain their lights in good operating and physical condition. The HOA strongly recommends keeping other outside lighting on all night.

Does the HOA ever make inspections for violations?

Monthly inspections are performed by a volunteer team composed of previous Board members. Semi-annual inspections of the common spaces are performed to ensure proper maintenance and that adjoining properties continue to respect these areas as well. Please review the Rules & Regulations for additional requirements.

Does the HOA ever issue fines?

Yes – Please click on the  Rules & Regulations to review the Fining Policy.
